DESCRIPTION:Text in English available at the bottom. \nDescubre el arte de Madrid con Louis Nye: Talleres creativos en inglés para niños \n\nTras el éxito de los últimos meses\, ¡nos alegra anunciar una nueva serie de visitas guiadas/taller a museos con Louis! Las visitas mantendrán el mismo formato que antes\, con fascinantes historias sobre pinturas y muchas oportunidades para dibujar\, pero exploraremos nuevos temas. Así que\, si ya has asistido a una visita y quieres descubrir otra parte del museo\, ¡apúntate! Las visitas durarán 1 hora y 30 minutos\, tendrán un coste de 25 € y están dirigidas a niños y niñas de 7 años en adelante. \n\n\n\nLa moda en el Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza\nSábado\, 12 de abril: 12:00 – 13:30 \n\n¿Qué ropa llevaba la gente antes? Responderemos esta pregunta explorando pinturas desde el siglo XIV hasta nuestros días. Ven a dibujar desde armaduras y mallas metálicas hasta sedas y encajes\, y reinventa pinturas famosas con nuevos trajes. \n\n\n  \n\nLa moda en el Museo del Prado\n\n\nSábado\, 12 de abril: 16:30 – 18:00\nDomingo\, 13 de abril: 17:00 – 18:30\n\n\nEn esta divertida visita exploraremos la historia del arte a través de prendas y trajes históricos. ¿Son diferentes las ropas que aparecen en el Prado de las que llevamos ahora? ¿Más elegantes? ¿Más raras? ¿Más graciosas? ¿Llevarías alguno de estos trajes hoy? Resolveremos estas dudas y cada niño se llevará un flip book de moda\, donde podrán combinar trajes de diferentes épocas. \n\n\n\nDibujando la naturaleza en el Real Jardín Botánico\nDisfruta del sol dibujando al aire libre en el Real Jardín Botánico. Observaremos diferentes plantas\, árboles y flores de todo el mundo mientras aprendemos distintas técnicas de dibujo. La primera mitad consiste en una visita temática por el museo\, durante la cual Louis explica las historias\, técnicas y la importancia de las obras de arte\, además de generar un debate con los niños para que hablen sobre las obras. La segunda mitad será una clase de dibujo donde los niños realizarán bocetos a lápiz de obras famosas de la colección. \n¿Quién es Louis Nye?\nLouis Nye es un artista profesional y profesor en La Casita de Inglés. Con años de experiencia enseñando a niños a través de talleres creativos\, combina su pasión por el arte y la educación para inspirar a los niños a conectar con el arte de una manera única. \n¿Qué museos visitaremos?\nLa mayoría de los talleres tendrán lugar en las colecciones de los «Tres Grandes»: Museo del Prado\, Museo Reina Sofía y Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza. Sin embargo\, ocasionalmente también organizaremos visitas a exposiciones temporales especiales. \n¿Pueden los padres unirse al taller?\nSí\, los padres pueden unirse\, pero deberán comprar su propia entrada al museo de forma independiente. Ten en cuenta que las actividades del taller están diseñadas exclusivamente para los niños. \n¿Dónde nos encontraremos?\nNos encontraremos en la entrada principal del museo. These tours will cover the same format as before\, with exciting stories about paintings and lots of chances to draw\, but we’re looking at new topics – so if you’ve been to a tour before and want to explore another part of the museum\, come along! Tours will be 1hr 30 mins long\, they will cost €25 and will be available for ages 7 and above.  \nFashion at the Thyssen-Bornemisza \nSaturday 12th April:  \n\n12:00 – 1:30pm\n\nWhat clothes did people used to wear? We’ll answer this question by exploring paintings from the 1300s up till the present day. Come along and draw outfits from chainmail and armour to silks and lace\, and reinvent famous paintings with new outfits. \n  \n\nFashion at the Prado\n\n\n\nSaturday 12th April: 16:30– 18:00\nSunday 13th April: 16:30– 18:00\n\n\n\nThis exciting tour will explore art history through historical clothes and outfits. Do the clothes in the prado look different to what we’re wearing? More fancy? Stranger? Funnier? Would you wear these outfits today? This tour will answer these questions and each child will leave with a fashion flip book\, where they combine outfits from different eras.\n \n\n\n\nDrawing from Nature at the Royal Botanical Gardens\n\n\n\nFriday\, 2nd May:\n \n\n 10:30 – 12:00\n 12:15 – 1:45\n\n  \nSaturday\, 3rd May:\n \n\n 10:30 – 12:00\n 12:15 – 1:45\n\nEnjoy the sunshine and draw outside in the Royal Botanical Gardens. We’ll be looking at different plants\, trees and flowers from around the world while learning different drawing techniques. Louis will also bring photos of artworks depicting nature from Georgia O’Keefe to Vincent Van Gogh\, and we’ll explore how different artists depicted the plants around us. \n  \nMother’s Day: A Celebration of Women in the Prado\n\nSunday 4th May: \n\n\n\n10:45 – 12:15 \n12:30 – 2:00 \n\n\nOn the day where we celebrate the mothers (and grandmothers) in our lives\, we’ll be looking at the great female figures in Prado’s collection.
